Take It All in on Two Wheels

There’s no better way to experience the beautiful countryside around Youghal than by bicycle – treating you to the best of Irish scenery, nature, vistas and views. All with the freedom to hop on and off the bike as you go!

As you cycle, you’ll pass through quaint villages, and enjoy the warmth of the locals in Youghal and just next-door in County Waterford. You’ll discover local beaches, cliff walks, woodlands and the town itself.

Youghal to Midleton Greenway

This exciting new 23 km Greenway is currently under construction along the disused Youghal to Midleton railway corridor and through the lush heart of East Cork.

The Greenway promises off-road walking and cycling experiences for everyone – from young families to ardent cyclists.

Stage 1: Midleton-Mogeely, 8km, opened in March 2024.  Mogeely is a 16km drive from Youghal.
Stage 2: Mogeely-Youghal, 15km, opens in Summer 2024.

And, you can even choose to cycle a section of the famous Ireland Ironman cycle route.
