Filling the Summer Air with Song
From 27 May to 3 June 2024 the Blackwater Valley will once again welcome this feast of classical music and opera performances. This year’s Summer Opera Festival will treat audiences to opera, recitals and concerts at 12 beautiful locations – including Youghal, with Greenpark Youghal serving as the beautiful backdrop for a lunchtime recital on Saturday 4th June 2024 at 12 noon. Music, history and natural beauty in perfect harmony!
Relax with a Lunchtime Recital
This year, the Festival continues its pop-up programme of free lunchtime festival recital – giving you the opportunity to enjoy some highlights of classical and operatic repertoire in a relaxed, less formal way. The Youghal open-air lunchtime event will held at Greenpark and attendance is FREE of charge, although pre-booking is required.
A Chorus Recital at St Mary’s
The beautiful St Mary’s Collegiate Church in Youghal will host Blackwater Valley Opera Festival for the first time! Taking place on (DATE), this event will feature artists from the Festival’s Chorus, performing magnificent arias, duets, and ensembles from some of the world’s best-loved operas.
