Walter’s is beautifully located on the sea-front promenade in the 4-star, 18th century Georgian boutique hotel, The Walter Raleigh. The venue offers a relaxed lunch or dinner in front of an open turf fire. House favourites include confit of Silver Hill duck leg with braised red cabbage and Madeira wine reduction, Kataifi wrapped tiger prawns with roast pepper and walnut sauce, and wild mushroom, baby spinach and goat’s cheese vol au vent. As Walter’s describes it: “simplicity is in the quality of our food, and the detail is in the taste.”

The bar also features live music every Saturday night from 9.30pm until late.
