For the Ultimate Soup and a Sandwich…

Situated in the town’s Market Square, Moby Dick’s commemorates the filming of John Huston’s 1954 version of Moby Dick. And, it was in this very pub that Huston would sit each morning, planning the day’s shoot schedule. You’ll see lots of memorabilia from this time throughout the pub – and you’ll enjoy wonderful views of the harbour and Market Square.

Moby Dick’s invites you to savour wonderful, homemade soup as well as a large selection of freshly cut sandwiches, toasted or plain. Simple yet so satisfying. The pub serves a wide variety of beers in stouts, ales and lager, in both draught and bottle, as well as spirits, liqueurs and fortified wines.
