SUMMARY:Lismore Choir
DESCRIPTION:The Lismore choir is a friendly mixed choir of all ages about 35 strong. We usually present two major concerts a year; our Christmas celebration at Lismore Castle every December and a Spring concert often in Lismore Cathedral\, as well as performing at various community functions locally.\nThe choir also occasionally joins with other choirs for performance; and it has enjoyed entertaining choirs from abroad and then travelling to return the visit. The choir also participates in choral festivals

SUMMARY:Jack O'Rourke
DESCRIPTION:A captivating and unique live artist\, Jack O Rourke performs his most recent album Wild Place and old favourites at St. Mary’s Collegiate Church. \nDescribed as “Easily one of the year’s best albums.” by the Irish Times\, Wild Place is Jack’s first release since 2019 and has met wide acclaim; \n“There’s a soaring\, magical quality to Jack O’Rourke’s Wild Place. There’s an almost cinematic feel to the album\, like a soundtrack to some classic Hollywood movie\, perhaps by Nora Ephron. Wild Place seals O’Rourke’s reputation as one of Ireland’s most gifted performers.” – Hotpress \n“O’Rourke is a vocalist of rare distinction. The album’s essence is to be found on Sea Swimming – a track that’s redolent of the sort of standards that Paul Brady delivered early in his career.” – John Meagher\, The Irish Independent
